Diffusion in Two Dimensions
Objective: introduce the student to a simple finite difference model that can be used to predict diffusion in simple two dimensional structures. A key objective here is to encourage students to run a version of this computer program on their own PC's. With this computer program the interested student can extend their knowledge about diffusion by creating simple models and performing parametric studies.
