Background Information

SGITM Performer


Performer is a programming interface for developers creating real-time visual simulation, architectural walk-through, and other performance-oriented 3D graphics applications. The video library is where Performer's real power lies. It is for this reason alone that Performer must be installed.

Although performer itself could be used without DIVERSE on this project, Performer is not as flexible as DIVERSE in many areas. Therefore only the graphics library of Performer will be used for this project. However this could change if DIVERSE could be programmed to use OpenGL directly.
