Creating a Low cost Working Environment for CAVE^TM Development Using Diverse and Linux

This project was inspired by the idea to create an affordable CAVE^TM development environment utilizing PC hardware, Linux, and Diverse. CAVE^TM development usually takes place on an SGI^TM Octane workstation or an even more expensive SGI^TM Computer, such as the CAVE^TM itself. Most professors and students here at Virginia Tech do not have access to such a computer. It is for this main reason that this project was developed.

This project will provide instructions to install, test, and troubleshoot a DIVERSE/Linux development system.
